Antique New England Homestead Engraved Maps USA New England & World Map 1900s. Three 1900s New England Homestead produced maps of USA, New England, and World Map. All the front sides have lots of color and the back sides are done in black and white. The first map has a shiny coating and the other sides do not. Truly a historical item of our history from the early 1900s! In general, some of the details of each side. FRONT SIDE of First map is of The World with all the different flags of countries around outer sides and portraits of the countries leaders at bottom. Also pictured in the map is the topographical map of the Panama Canal. The three maps are from The World On Mercator's Projection 1905-07. At top of first map it says New England Homestead Maps.

BACKSIDE: Historic sketch of the Isthmian Canal and Description of the Panama Canal & Progress Work. FRONT SIDE of Second map is of the New England States and BACK SIDE shows the counties and towns of New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Connecticut and Massachusetts. FRONT SIDE of the third map is of The USA and has portraits of the US Presidents. BACK SIDE shows all kinds of charts, tables and Declaration of Independence. Some of the charts and tables are of Weights and Measurements, Populations and Areas of USA, Largest Cities, Uses of Salt, Size and Descriptions of the Great Lakes and more!

CONDITION: Maps are in decent vintage condition, but there are issues. The borders have tears, as we have tried to show in pics, and there is definite discoloration and possible water or moisture discoloration throughout.

Maps were found rolled and are attached together at the top with metal clasp and two hooks for hanging. Colors are still vibrant on most of the colored areas considering age of this item!

Maps measures approx 35 1/2" by 27 1/2". We do our best to give accurate descriptions, disclosures and detailed photos. If our item is described as VINTAGE or ANTIQUE, it is old and should never be expected to look "like new".
